Blueberry Cravings!

I know that blueberries are healthy for you but they are pretty expensive, especially the fresh ones. I did a price comparison between the two main stores here because they were both promoting the sale of blueberries.(Probably because of Oprah and Dr. Phils recent shows) Randalls was offering 18oz for $5.99. HEB was offering 4.40oz containers for $1.99 each. Now, the $1.99 was the first thing that caught my attention as being more affordable but look what happens when I compare the ounces

(4) 4.40 oz containers or 17.60oz @ 1.99 = 7.98

(1) 18.0z container @ 5.99 = 5.99

savings of $1.97

Plus I get more bluberries at the $5.99 price!

What amazes me is how easily I could have been persuaded to buy the $1.99 containers because of the price at first glance. Lesson learned. Check your ounces!
